Gill Frye is the sometimes plucky, always inappropriate computer technician of the Silent Universe podcast, and he made his first appearance in the premiere: 1x01 - Mission 256. Next to the accent of Emmeline Kaley, he seems to have generated the most character-based discussion among listeners, provoking feelings of either amusement or irritance.
